Weddings at Christmas
Hey Everyone, Happy 2018!! I hope you have had fantastic Christmases and New years. I was lucky enough to attend 2 weddings just before Christmas. Both were close friends of ours.
The first was on the 21st December at the beautiful Polhawn Fort in Cornwall. It was for the Celebration of my good friend Sarah to her husband Joe. They hired out the whole place with no staff so it was a giggle setting everything up, cooking and eating together and running wild in the place. The Wedding was Gatsby/Christmas themed. Everything about it was beautiful but apart from the special ceremony, my favourite part what one of their gorgeous sons singing 'Santa Claus is coming to Town' with Father Christmas walking in and surprising him. So Sweet. Here are a few photos:
My gift was this Gatsby themed printed Chalkboard:
It looked gorgeous in the fort. I also made signs for the bedroom doors in the Fort with guests names on and a few other bits.
A huge CONGRATULATIONS Mr & Mrs Jones
The second wedding was on 23rd December. My good friend Matthew (Dizzy) married the stunning Georgia. It was at a Church in Gloucester then onto the beautiful Queens Hotel in Cheltenham. They wanted to steer clear of 'Christmas' as a theme and went with a beautiful floral theme. Here are a few photos from their special day: (The best man was my gorgeous husband)
For Matthew and Georgia I made their seating plan which was my first with one large table and also a welcome board:
It was a lovely day and evening and I know my husband was honoured to be best man. A huge CONGRATULATIONS Mr & Mrs Buckland (a Christmas tree decoration I made for them)
